Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup firm tofu
- 1 cup green cabbage, finely shredded
- 1/2 cup carrots, grated
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 20 round dumpling wrappers
- Cooking oil for frying
Instructions
- Press firm tofu to remove excess moisture. Crumble into a bowl and mix with cabbage, carrots, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil until combined.
- Place about one tablespoon of filling on each dumpling wrapper. Moisten edges with water and fold over to seal tightly.
- In a skillet over medium heat, add enough oil to coat the bottom. Once hot, fry dumplings until golden brown on one side (3-4 minutes), then flip.
- Quickly add 1/2 cup water to the skillet and cover immediately to steam for 5-7 minutes until cooked through.
- Serve hot with dipping sauce made from soy sauce and rice vinegar.
