  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 16 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 large eggs
  • 3 cups Granny Smith apples (peeled and sliced thinly)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • 1 cup salted caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and ¼ cup sugar. Press into a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. Bake crust for 10 minutes until golden; set aside.
  3. In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add remaining sugar and sour cream, mixing well. Beat in eggs one at a time until blended.
  4. Toss sliced apples with cinnamon and nutmeg. Pour half of the cheesecake filling over the crust, layer with spiced apples, then pour remaining filling on top.
  5. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until set but slightly jiggly in the center. Cool completely before refrigerating for at least four hours or overnight.
