Beans
  • 2 cans canned navy beans drained and rinsed
Sauce
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 pinch salt to taste
  • 1 pinch black pepper to taste
Optional Toppings
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the drained and rinsed navy beans to the sauce mixture and stir until well combined.
Baking
  1. Transfer the bean mixture to a baking dish and spread it evenly.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until bubbly and heated through.
  3. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
