Chocolate Chips

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Gather all your ingredients on the countertop.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat together the wet ingredients: milk, egg, and melted butter. Optionally add vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and gently fold them together with a spatula, being careful not to over-mix.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it.
  2. Pour batter onto the griddle and cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.
