Ingredients

  • 3 cups ripe mangoes, diced about 3 medium mangoes
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 cup water for blending

Method
 

Prepare the Mango Puree
  1. In a blender, combine the diced mangoes, sugar, lime juice, and water. Blend until smooth.
Chill the Mixture
  1. Transfer the mango puree to a bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours until well chilled.
Churn the Sorbet
  1. Pour the chilled mango mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
Freeze the Sorbet
  1. Transfer the sorbet to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 2 hours to firm up.
