Method
 

Preparation
  1. Gather all your ingredients for the pineapple salsa.
  2. Chop the pineapple into small, even pieces, about half-inch cubes.
  3. Dice half a red onion and one jalapeño, then add them to the chopped pineapple.
  4. Finely chop half a cup of fresh cilantro and toss it in with the other ingredients.
  5. Squeeze the juice of one lime over the mixture and sprinkle in a pinch of salt, then stir gently until well combined.
  6. Let the salsa rest for at least 15 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
  7. Serve the pineapple salsa with tortilla chips or as a topping for tacos or grilled meats.
