Prepare the Cake
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line the cake pans with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add softened butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix on medium speed until smooth.
- Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans.

Prepare the Frosting
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy.
- Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing until well combined.
- Add milk and vanilla extract, mixing until fluffy and smooth.
Assemble the Cake
- Once the cakes are completely cooled, place one layer on a serving plate.
- Spread a layer of whipped cream and top with sliced strawberries and blueberries.
- Place the second cake layer on top and frost the entire cake with the prepared frosting.
- Decorate with remaining fruit on top for a pretty finish.
