Ingredients

Steak
  • 4 oz sirloin steak or ribeye, about 1 inch thick
Eggs
  • 8 large eggs fresh
Seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 1 tsp black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 tbsp olive oil for cooking

Method

Cook the Steak
  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Season the steak with salt and pepper.
  2. Once the skillet is hot, add the steak and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached.
  3. Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature (130°F for medium-rare). Remove from skillet and let rest.
Cook the Eggs
  1. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and crack the eggs into the skillet.
  2. Cook the eggs to your preference: sunny-side up, over-easy, or scrambled, about 3-5 minutes.
Serve
  1. Slice the rested steak and serve alongside the eggs. Enjoy your steak and eggs breakfast!
