Ingredients
  

Jalapeno Peppers
  • 12 pieces jalapeno peppers halved and seeded
Cheese Filling
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
Bacon
  • 12 slices bacon cut in half

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Using a spoon, fill each jalapeno half with the cheese mixture.
  4. Wrap each stuffed jalapeno with a half slice of bacon, securing with a toothpick if necessary.
Cooking
  1. Place the wrapped jalapenos on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and the jalapenos are tender.
  3. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
