Ingredients
  

For the Salad
  • 1 lb beef sirloin thinly sliced
  • 4 cups mixed salad greens
  • 1 cup cucumber sliced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1 cup red bell pepper sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion thinly sliced
For the Dressing
  • 3 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon sugar or honey
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes adjust to taste

Method
 

Prepare the Beef
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Season the beef sirloin with salt and pepper.
  2. Grill the beef for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from grill and let rest for a few minutes.
  3. Slice the beef thinly against the grain.
Make the Dressing
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together fish sauce, lime juice, sugar, minced garlic, and chili flakes until well combined.
Assemble the Salad
  1. In a large bowl, combine mixed salad greens, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, red bell pepper, cilantro, and red onion.
  2. Add the sliced beef on top of the salad.
  3. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine.
Serve
  1. Serve immediately, garnished with additional cilantro if desired.

Notes

This salad is best served fresh. You can adjust the spice level by adding more or less chili flakes.
