Ingredients
  

Pasta
  • 12 oz cheese tortellini fresh or frozen
Sauce
  • 2 cups marinara sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese for creaminess
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese for topping
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese for topping
Seasonings
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper to taste

Method
 

Prepare the Tortellini
  1. Cook the tortellini according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Make the Sauce
  1. In a skillet, heat the marinara sauce over medium heat. Stir in the ricotta cheese, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Combine and Bake
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked tortellini and the sauce mixture. Transfer to a greased baking dish.
  2. Top with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
Serve
  1. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your tortellini bake!
