Ingredients
  

Turkey Burger
  • 1 lb ground turkey lean
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp salt to taste
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper to taste
Bowl Ingredients
  • 2 cups mixed greens such as spinach and arugula
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1 cup cucumber diced
  • 0.5 cup red onion sliced
  • 0.5 cup feta cheese crumbled
  • 0.5 cup avocado sliced
Dressing
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 0.5 tsp honey
  • 0.5 tsp salt to taste
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper to taste

Method
 

Prepare the Turkey Burger
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into 4 equal patties.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked through.
Assemble the Bowl
  1. In a large bowl, layer the mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, feta cheese, and avocado.
  2. Place a turkey burger patty on top of the salad.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, red wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, honey, salt, and pepper to make the dressing.
  4. Drizzle the dressing over the assembled bowl and serve immediately.
